Hello World,

By way of background, I am a regular guy who loves outdoor and tactical gear in civilian applications. I am a military enthusiast and like many of you, I am on an unending journey of looking for quality gear.

I am not ashamed to admit that I have my fair share of budget gear that has not stood up to hard use and they currently reside in a box of (my) shame.

In terms of how far along I am in my journey, I have generally moved past budget reproduction and low budget gear found on stores like Ali Express and Wish. Most of my current use gear is a mix of military surplus and commercial grade equipment. 

I am also fascinated with night vision and image intensification. 

In my day job, I work in the legal industry either creating problems or solving problems, whichever is applicable. I would like to think I bring a healthy amount of skepticism to the gear we discuss.

Over the next few months our goal will be taking a look at gear that I have already obtained and used.
